Sentara Princess Anne Hospital Auxiliary is proud to support the continued growth and excellence of Sentara Princess Anne Hospital and its reputation for delivering exceptional patient care. Through volunteerism, fundraising, and community partnerships, the Auxiliary plays an important role in enhancing the patient and family experience while supporting the hospital's mission of compassionate, high-quality healthcare. Dedicated to promoting and advancing the health of our community, the Auxiliary remains committed to making a meaningful difference for those we serve.
As a member-based volunteer organization, the Auxiliary is made up of community members who are passionate about supporting the hospital, its staff, and the surrounding community. The Auxiliary proudly serves through a variety of impactful programs and initiatives, including:

Offering a Free Mammogram Program for uninsured and underinsured patients

Providing the Unique Boutique, which offers complimentary scarves, hats, and wigs for oncology patients

Operating the SPAH Auxiliary Gift Shop to serve patients, visitors, and staff while generating funds to support Auxiliary programs

Awarding annual scholarships to SPAH team members and graduating Virginia Beach high school students

Supporting a clothing closet for patients in need

Creating and donating handmade baby hats for newborns delivered at the hospital

Contributing to local and charitable organizations that benefit the community when fundraising and Gift Shop proceeds allow
